On Wednesday, 19th April, II IB went on a trip to the Museum of the Second World War. The Museum which was opened one month was an object to some controversies, due to the Minister of the Culture and National Heritage decision to combine it with the Westerplatte Museum. Since the opening thousands of the residents and tourists had an opportunity to see an exposition on the Second World War. The exposition is a special one because it’s focused on the histories of ordinary people, communities and nations rather than o military history. With Ms. Beata Kardasińska serving as a guide, II IB class have learned a lot about the people’s life during the II World War. Every participant of the trip agrees that it was a well-prepared exposition. The building of the Museum is also very impressive due to its unique form. We want to recommend everybody to visit the Museum and to find out that the history lessons, even the most difficult ones, can be very interesting!
